S.C. FOR @ DRILL S.A. Baia Mare was founded in December 1997. Is a public limited liability company with private capital from Romania.
The main areas of activity of the company are:
- Activities of planning, urban design, engineering and other technical services: technical geological, geophysical services research, and other related research that provides information about the structure of the underground; location of deposits of oil, natural gas, minerals and ores, and groundwater; cartographic services and related activities;
- Test drilling and boring for civil and industrial operations: analysis of underground by drilling and boring; digging tunnels and galleries as well as any other site, and preparing the land for mineral aggregate deposits;
The founding shareholders and the technical personnel employed are specialists with experience in drilling and prospecting, all being former employees of Geological Prospecting and Exploration I.P.E.G Maramureş (s.c CUARȚ s.a after 1990), who worked in the industrial plants of company, some of them holding leadership positions as chief drilling engineer, technical director, general manager, chief technician, etc.
The founders and shareholders of the company are: Dorin MARINCESCU (drilling engineer), Virgil POP (drilling engineer), Victor ILIEŞ (mechanical engineer), Mircea MĂNESCU (mechanical engineer), Attila Buchman (electrical engineer) and Florian Blidar (mining engineer) with all former employees of SC "QUARTZ" S.A. Baia Mare.
The company holds the following type of drilling rigs: URB-3AM, 1BA, FA-15 32, LM-38 (2), FG-1,2 M (2)
Within the company is operating a repair and maintenance operationshop, and since 2003 has been approved the "Physico-Mechanical Testing Laboratory" for traction cable, welds and other types of joints as well as for checking and repairing of gas and liquid pressure measuring devices.THE ADMINISTRATIVE COUNCIL
